- i want to thank you for giving me the fear that every time a child nears the water i have a certain "sigh, or whatever you call it" and scream "watch that baby."
- i want to thank you for giving me the ability to know at least one line from every song known to mankind.
- i want to thank you for making me afraid of cars backing out.
- i want to thank you for endless stories of how my mother fell into a well and you caught me and promised to take care of me.
- i want to thank you for making me paranoid about all the little creaks in the house.
- i want to thank you for being mean to me when i mad fun of your singing..because it is happening to me now. and i don't even sing as bad as you.
- i want to thank you for showing the importance of family and that a load of dishes or laundry can wait.
- i want to thank you for making me a suspicious women that i am today. i am always trying to figure out if someone else has a second "lifestyle."
- i want to thank you for the constant "nagging." even if it hacks me off at times, i really do appreciate it and do take it into consideration at other times.
- i want to thank you for putting the fear in me ...that every time i pull out in front of a car that my car could stall at anytime and that could be bad.
- i will go ahead and thank you for making me a "Internet" doctor. because i am sure with a few more years of age and when the littlest things go wrong, i will be on the internet diagnosing myself with a "disease."...i know one of my other sisters has this already so i know it is coming.
- i want to thank you for teaching me that if you drive around the parking lot a few times you are sure to find a front parking space.
- also, another i would like to thank you for ahead of time ...are all the unfinished conversations i am gonna have because i have the 'sd phillips' problem. where you get stuck on a sentence so then you just change the subject. thanks.
i really do appreciate everything about you. those things are just funny and when i do them i always think about you. you said that would happen. i love you mom and thanks for being the best friend i could ask for.

Ok, that was good...but I do agree with the "drive around, a closer parking space WILL come available". AND, she's the best sister-in-law!! But by all means, don't wish the "SD Syndrome" on anyone...God love him!!
